01) the west side of Capsule 16! holly can sit on the bench to slowly regain Happiness and Energy

02) here is an example of the new Happiness and Energy meters in action! holly must take care of herself if she wants to be an efficient farmer. any actions related to work deplete her Happiness, while only watering lowers her Energy. varying up the food holly eats, talking to people, and generally goofing off all raise Happiness; eating and sleeping restore Energy. the menu’s overall look has been updated, and there is now a submenu for items

03) this pond has been improved, as well as the clouds. some butterflies showed up as well

Living Playground: The Witch’s Puppets is an adventure/visual novel hybrid game about friendship, magic, and the dangers of geese.  The game follows a trio of siblings who wind up in bizarre otherworldly locations after picking up a lost item and the two teenage witches who are (maybe?) attempting to help them get home.

Hey! This is Magical Disaster X, a game I made in a month for a game contest, the IGMC 2018. It’s a side-scrolling comedy RPG about the worst magical girls in the world, stomping through a secret hideout of stupidly incompetent villains.

I got a TON of help from friends and it never ever would’ve been possible without them, and special thanks to @dekpi for making the lineart for the amazing title screen!

Razor City Frenzy -Protologue- is a 25 - 30 minutes long prototype made in RPG Maker VX Ace in 3 weeks. Originally made for the IGMC.

A city controlled by street gangs, knife duels everywhere, and a mysterious murder nobody can seem to understand.

Take control of Zipper and guide her through Razor City in an attempt to discover what happened to her boss.

Featuring a unique reflex based but at the same time balanced battle system, Accompanied by a stylish user interface, and gorgeous hand drawn graphics.

Ok, we are probably jerking ourselves too much with that description. It’s a pretty nice game tho.

Love when your favorite Youtuber played The Witch’s House? Ever wanted to make a game, but programming complex code seems terrifying? Join our lovely dev guides Meaka, Hogwash, and Rindre as we walk you through all things RPGMaker. The past, the present… and maybe you, the future!

Part of our discussion of RPG Maker and its history will include “landmark” games made in the engines, such as Yume Nikki, OFF, and Ib, among others.

This discussion will include how these games shaped the community that grew from it and how they continue to inspire new developers to this day. A particular emphasis will be placed on community and the “fandom,” as it were, since they are the lifeblood of RPG Maker and indie game dev in general.

The approachability of the idea that anyone can make a game is a particularly strong draw, and people of varying skill sets can come together for game jams, create fanworks, or even just be able to chat with fellow fans and devs, bounce ideas off each other, and bring new projects to life without even realizing it.

Meaka and I will be cosplaying as Strange Boy and Goldia die Heilige, and Hogwash will be Hogwash. @choko-flan and @traumerei-project will be there in spirit!

Saturday Update #1 - Spagootily Noodly

It’s been difficult to make this choice, but I ultimately believe this is best for Lone Star’s future. After several corporate mergers and transactions (many of which I am not at liberty to discuss, as I am under a non-disclosure agreement), I’m proud to announce that I will be working together with Hummer Team to re-develop Lone Star for the Gameboy Color!

Hummer Team are some of the industry leaders in the Chinese video game development market, with many great titles under their belt, such as:

I don’t doubt that the game is in good hands, and I assure you, any apprehension you may have had will drift away once you see Hummer Team’s impressive resume and incredibly high-bar for game quality.
